17 2025 Spring Fashion Trends You Will Truly Wear
The question "What are the spring fashion trends for 2025?" comes up every time. During New York City Fashion Week, I receive a lot of high fashion and fashion forecasts from the spring runways. And although it can undoubtedly aid in prediction, I don't think such knowledge is really helpful or practical for us simple mortals who like casual, daily attire! This is for you if, like me, you're just curious about what will be in style for everyday females who want to keep things simple and traditional while occasionally incorporating a trend.
My Personal Take on Trends
The top trends for next year (or this year if you're reading this in 2025) are probably of interest to you if you clicked over to this list. However, I can understand if you're against trends. For my part, I am aware that the fashion business is corrupt overall and that the trend cycle seems to be accelerating over time. I usually pick one or two trends that I'm enthused about, look for an item or two that I know I'll wear frequently, and then incorporate them into my existing wardrobe.
The majority of these trends are wearable, accessible, and are probably going to last (or have) for more than one season, which is another reason I like to make this list. This is the list for you if you're merely looking to change your spring wardrobe a bit in preparation for the nicer temperatures that will be arriving soon!
The Biggest Spring 2025 Fashion Trends (That You'll Actually Wear)
Let's now discuss the anticipated fashion trends for the spring of 2025! Once more, they are all intended for people like me who aren't fashion editors or who don't walk the catwalk every day. Just for the typical girl who wants to look adorable for the approaching spring and summer!
1. Sheer Fabrics
I'm seeing wearable items for what appears to be the major trend that everyone is talking about. A vast range of clothing items, including skirts, pants, shirts, and even mesh shoes, are made of sheer materials. This is a trend that was popular last year and is likely to become even more so this year, so it's easy to accept in the new year and fun to jump on!
2. Barrel Jeans
Last season, I finally gave in to this trend, and it looks like it's here to stay! If you've been interested in this trend, now is the ideal moment to give it a try. It's undoubtedly a new twist on the classic straight-leg silhouette, but I think it really depends on your body type and personal taste!
3. Suede
I was really enamored with this movement last year, and I believe it will continue beyond 2025. Another one that relates to the main concept of comfort is this one, and I'm curious to see whether it continues into the upcoming season. especially considering that last year I purchased three pairs.
This macrotrend, in my opinion, is here to stay. I can't be persuaded differently; it's the new neutral. I'm excited for the upcoming spring versions of these striking designs since I've been smitten with the contemporary take on leopard print that I've seen in jackets and pants.
If you're worried that they'll have to pry your wide-leg jeans from your lifeless hands, don't worry—that style is undoubtedly here to stay through 2025!
Cherry red is predicted by Pinterest to be the "it" color for the upcoming year. I am in favor of the color of the year being mostly unchanged from the previous year since we saw a lot of red and burgundy! This will probably affect accessories, lip and nail colors, and other things. We all enjoy a splash of red, and it doesn't appear to be going away!
I will not participate in this one, although there are some entertaining ways to style these if you are young, wild, and unrestrained! Do I believe that this trend will continue for a while? Not necessary, but I'm adding it to the list since I see a lot of people attempting to make this a more popular wearable trend! While styling is clearly not difficult, I'm in my mid-thirties and have kids, so it's simply not my style at this point in my life. Hopefully, micro shorts will lead to micro trends.
10. Polo Shirts
11. Satin Skirts
Over the past year or so, I've styled a lot of satin skirt looks, and I really like this trend! They're very adaptable since they can be worn up or down, and I believe it's a stylish and simple approach to give your entire ensemble a softer silhouette.
12. Showing Some Shoulder
According to predictions, "power shoulders" or flaunting your shoulders will be popular in the upcoming year. Off-the-shoulder sweaters will be popular in the winter, while strapless skirts and shirts will be popular in the summer months. Love that most of us already own something like this, so if you don't want to buy something new, you don't have to!
13. Tie-Front Tops
I have an obsession with this fashion trend! The bow-tie blouse style for winter was informed by the abundance of tie-front shirts that I saw in the spring and summer of last year. However, I believe a tie-front shirt is a really stylish and fun trend that is easy to wear and style.
14. Hobo Bags
I'm obsessed with this trend and can't stop wearing it. Completely wearable, really useful, and quite fashionable. Is this trend here to stay? Finding a decent boho bag is a terrific way to embrace the trends and get some life out of them, even though I think they'll be around for a few seasons.
15. Trousers
